Lost in Sweden

I’m a German girl in her thirties *gasp*, that moved to Sweden to be with her wonderful Swede. I met him while attending an exchange program at university in 1998, fell in love with him after having returned home to Germany and finally made the permanent move up here in 2001. I always enjoyed travelling and lived in different countries such as the USA, Spain and France for longer periods of time, but sometimes – even after that many years - I feel kind of ‘lost’ up here! When I’m not struggeling with the cultural differences – which luckily is most of the time- I enjoy the great outdoors, spend time with my friends, cook for/with them and travel. Travelling can easily be called my biggest passion!
